A MAN has died after a medical emergency in Chepstow on Saturday morning (11th February).
Police, an emergency ambulance and an air ambulance attended the incident on Bulwark Road but the 83 year old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesperson for Gwent Police said: “At approximately 8.25am on Saturday 11th February officers were called to Hardwick Hill following concerns for a person’s welfare.
“An 83 year old man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
“There are no suspicious circumstances.”
The Welsh Ambulance Service confirmed reports of a medical emergency on Bulwark Road. A paramedic in a rapid response vehicle, a crew in an emergency ambulance, the Wales Air Ambulance and a team of fire service co-responders were sent to the scene.
