SOME of Llandogo’s youngest and oldest residents came together to spread the Christmas cheer last week.

Pupils from Llandogo Early Years visited the residents of the Priory Care Home on Friday 15th December.

The pupils sang Christmas carols to the residents and everyone dressed up in their most festive outfits for Christmas jumper day.

Afterwards the residents gave the pupils some goodie bags as Christmas presents.

This visit was one of the regular visits the pupils have been making it to the care home to spend time with the residents.

Rachel Davies from Llandogo Early Years said it was great to be able to foster intergenerational interaction between the two groups.

She said: “Since summer term we have been coming up on Fridays, we have done things like decorate Christmas cards and played games and sung songs.

“The residents have taken a real shine to them. We are hoping to keep this going all year round.”
