This year has again been a very busy one for the Summer Play Scheme at Monmouth Leisure Centre with over 1,800 visits and a daily average of around 90 children aged 5-11 years old.

Children have taken part in a wide variety of activities which has included swimming, arts and crafts, games, races, sports, dressing up to name but a few. They have also had visits from the local fire brigade, library service and even Elsa Queen of Arendelle from Disney’s Frozen Movie.

A big thank you must go to the staff who remained energised throughout the four weeks. The leisure centre would also like to thank Monmouth Town Council for their continued financial support through a community grant.
