IT was ‘lights, camera, action’ in Chepstow recently as scenes for an upcoming Sky 1 television show were filmed in the town.
Over the course of three days, the centre of town became the setting for filming with locations including the high street, and Hocker Hill Street during both the day and night.
The filming was for the new TV adaptation of the bestselling novel ‘A Discovery of Witches’ by Deborah Harkness which is set to air in 2018. A Discovery of Witches is a contemporary love story starring Matthew Goode from Downton Abbey and Teresa Palmer seen in Hacksaw Ridge.
It is set against the backdrop of Oxford academic life, but in a world where a handful of witches, vampires and demons live and work unseen amongst humans, hiding in plain sight.
