Entries for the highly anticipated Wales Business Awards 2024 are now open.
The awards, organised by Chambers Wales South East, South West and Mid, provide businesses across south east Wales with the opportunity to compete for Wales’ most prestigious accolades.
In the 2023 edition of the awards, Harriet Thomas from Abergavenny scooped the prize for Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Ebbw Vale-based social enterprise ELITE Clothing Solutions received the Diversity & Inclusion Award and Newport-based recruitment firm Acorn by Synergie won the Workplace Wellbeing Award.
The application process for next year’s awards opens today and will close on 29 February 2024. Chamber members and non-members can submit their entries by completing an application form or uploading an audio or video entry.
Businesses from the region have the chance to enter an increased number of categories this year including the new ‘SME Exporter of the Year’ category, as well as other awards such as ‘Innovative Business of the Year’ and the ‘Workplace Wellbeing Award’.
The Chamber will also be awarding ‘Wales Business of the Year’ at the ceremony on 16 May at The Vale Resort, which sees broadcaster Andrea Byrne return as host.
Paul Butterworth, CEO of Chambers Wales South East, South West and Mid, said: “The Wales Business Awards are a showcase for the best Welsh business has to offer. The awards continue to be a launch pad for businesses and an opportunity to celebrate their achievements that make a huge difference to the Welsh economy.”
