I’m very disappointed in Monmouthshire Council who say they are trying to encourage wild flowers with less mowing etc etc … and yet one of their employees has mowed a completely unnecessary swathe right through a thriving colony of wild Pyramidal Orchids growing in Monmouth.
This I presume was to turn the mowing machine around after mowing another unnecessary path nearer the pavement. There are no junction sight-lines and no access to anything. An employee joy riding at Council Tax payers expense?
