The M48 motorway remains closed between Chepstow and Magor following a collision between a person and a car in the early hours of this morning.
Gwent Police say they received a report of a road traffic collision on the motorway near the Dewstow area. of Caldicot at around 2.25am
The motorway remains closed between junction two of the M48 at Chepstow and junction 23A of the M4 at Magor.
Diversions are in place while officers continue to work at the scene.
