On Wednesday 22nd April the Exercise Referral Scheme at Monmouth Leisure Centre alongside Pulmonary Specialist Nurse, Louise Eynon and the British Lung Foundation launched a Brand New 'Start up 2 Exercise Referral Class' tailored to meet the needs and goals of patients suffering from respiratory diseases and other similar debilitating conditions such as stroke and Parkinson's Disease.

To attend the class participants will need to be referred from a Health Professional such as Louise or through their local General Practice. 

Once the referral has been accepted participants are invited to an open session for more information and to meet the Exercise Referral Professional, Suzanne Lee followed by a free initial consultation which will consist of medical checks and goal setting.

The first 'Start up 2 Exercise Referral Class' will be held in Monmouth Leisure Centre Fitness Studio on today, April 29th 12.45-1.45pm with refreshments being offered afterwards between -1.45-2.45pm. Participation of the classes will cost a small fee of £2.00 per session.
