Bridges Community Centre has made the short list for the Marks and Spencer Energy fund distribution of £400k.
One of two projects in Wales bidding for the £40k national prize, the money would provide 60% of the cost of a new heating system. The benefit to Bridges would be reduced heating costs and provide a potential net gain of £150k over the next twenty years.
The winner will be decided by an online voting system which is already open but will close at 11.59pm on 30th September. The project with the most votes at that time will win the £40k prize
Bridges is currently eighth on the leader board with a lot of ground to make up so please sign on at the website www.mandsenergyfund.com/project/28347/.
