NEARLY £1,000 has been raised at Bridges when a Skool Disco night was held on Saturday 22nd August.

The money will be split with both Bridges Community Centre and Rocky Lees Little Feet charity.

The community centre was alive with a packed dance floor and was very well received.

For those who attended, Bridges will be hosting another disco when Pete Stead DJ (aka Soundtracker) will be making a welcome return on Saturday 21st November for a disco, funk and soul night.

The all vinyl event will involve thousands of singles collected by Pete over the years.

Event organiser Debbie Hutchinson, said: “I first attended discos with Pete using vinyls (as everyone did then) back in the very early ‘80s and they say everything makes a comeback.

“I knew that with his amazing ability to fill any dance floor, Monmouth is in for a fantastic night.

“This evening is no doubt going to be a massive success and talked about all over the town like our last two events have been.”
