A MONMOUTH company has again run a fundraiser to help Ukraine refugees and those living in the war torn country.

Kevin Graham, managing director of Milking Solutions has been selling Christmas trees with all the money going to Ukraine and so far this year he has raised over £1,000 with money still coming in.

He said the interest, generosity and positive feedback received so far from the people of Monmouth has been amazing.

‘‘Many people have purchased trees and others just wanted to help Ukraine by donated money.

‘‘There has also been a real willingness from many of our staff too with some donating and helping manage the sale and delivery of the trees.

‘‘For many local businesses including ourselves, it has been a challenging time over the last couple of years.

‘‘With this said, it has been refreshing for us to do something “out of the box” and positive for such a worthy cause.’’
