A MAN from Undy has appeared in court charged with 13 counts of sexual offences against a child under the age of 13 and three counts of possessing indecent images of children.

The man, who can't be named for legal reasons, appeared at Newport Magistrates Court yesterday (14th April).

The case was transferred to Crown Court and the defendant will appear on Thursday 30th April in Newport Crown Court.

The defendant has been released on police bail.
