THE family of the late Wendy Jeffs were pleased to have been given the opportunity by Monnow Vale Health and Social Care Facility to plant a blossom tree in hospital grounds in her memory.

The tree has been planted in the centre of a bench, which has already been built to commemorate Wendy, to allow patients and staff to sit and relax in the gardens.

The family are very appreciative of the many donations given at Wendy's funeral and wish to also extend thanks to colleagues in the Monmouth Community Nursing Team.

Wendy was a very popular member of the nursing team and a keen gardener who loved plants and trees.

Wendy's family are delighted that the tree and bench are a fitting memorial for her.
