Work to improve the surface on the Wye Bridge will commence tonight and every night this week, ending Friday 27th (Saturday morning).

The works will take place between 22.00 to 05.00 hrs.

Traffic Management will begin at 21.30 until 05.30 next morning, keeping one lane open.

Workers will tackle specific areas each night to reduce the length of road closure in place.Bridge will remain open and traffic will be managed with traffic lights “stop and go” to prioritise flow from A40.

No heavy machinery will be used so vibration and noise should be minimised. Lighting will be focussed on the specific area where work is being undertaken. Workers will sweep the road and ensure chippings and detritus are removed from road and pavement and check drainage to reduce any future disruption.
