BLACKROCK Rovers manager Paul Lovell was delighted with his side's home draw against promotion hopefuls Cromwell but less impressed by some of the visitors' antics on and off the field.
"Their players tried to bully us at every opportunity, with players being kicked off the ball and threatened," he claimed.
"My players showed great restraint and resilience to stand up to them," he added.
Blackrock took the lead through a Ben Smith free-kick and held it for half an hour before the Newport club equalised and then went ahead through an own goal.
"They scored a third after the break and took delight in goading my players as though they had won the league," Lovell said.
"Half of their players concentrated on kicking and threatening us and bragging about their league position but we pegged them back with a header by Ben to make it 3-2 and then, with only seconds left, he completed a great hat-trick with another superb free-kick.
"The ref blew the final whistle 30 seconds later and, after two Cromwell players attacked one of ours, there was a mass melee.
"Later, when I went into the visiting team's changing rooms I found it had been vandalised."
Despite the point, Rovers are still bottom of the division with 18 points from 24 games and six to play.
They lie one point behind Mardy who have played one game more than Rovers.. Third-from-bottom Cefn Forest, who have 10 games still to play, have 22 points, one behind Sebastopol who still have seven matches outstanding.
At the time of going to press, Cromwell AFC were unavailable for comments in reply to Blackrock Rovers' claims.
