ON Monday 25th July, the Seniors’ Section of Raglan Parc Golf Club held their annual charity competition.
On a wonderful day for golf, 47 members turned out to compete for the Ray York Trophy. It was a high scoring, and very competitive, round with Alf Cortes-Lage winning with a score of 41 Stableford points.
There were no losers that day, as everyone succeeded in the main aim, which was to ensure that the real winner was the charity, Prostate Cancer UK, as members raised £600 for the cause.
